What will it do for me?

Automatic notification to you every time a new panorama photograph is available. This means that a new walk report is also available.

How do I do it?

  1. Click on:
     RSS feed
    Subscribe to
    Johnny Boy's
    Walkabout Blog
    RSS feed
  2. Click on Subscribe to this feed.

  3. The feed is placed in your browser's Common Feed List (in Internet Explorer, in the Feeds tab of the Favourites Centre). The common feed list is also made available to other programs, so you can receive email notification too.
  4. You can then view the latest panorama photograph by doing Favourites, Feed tab, Johnny Boy's Walkabout Blog - Main page panorama and clicking on the entry you want.
  5. If you're interested in additional photos and the walk report, click on the latest walk report on the Walks Index page.

How does it work (if you're interested)?

  1. It's just a copy of the RSS feed from the Johnny Boy's Walkabout Blog - Main page panoramas album stored on Picasa.
  2. Every time I write up a walk, I add a panorama photo to this album (and also display it on the Walks Index page until the next walk is written up).
  3. So it's a handy trigger to know that there is a new walk report.
